- For many companies, the first task in developing a comprehensive, effective annual plan is to allocate sales quotas and trade promotion budgets down to the customer and product level appropriate for planning.
- The “Budget Creation” function has been established to allow the VP of Sales or Trade Marketing Manager to generate “Top-Down” budgets or sales quotas from a global or national number and incorporates such data as factory sales, consumption, store count or ACV and demographic or population trends.
